Words to Live by Wednesdays: “Don’t let what you cannot do…”

This weeks ‘Words to Live by Wednesdays’ is inspiring in more ways then one. One of the most valuable lessons we can teach and further model for our students is that although there may be things they cannot do, there are many things they can do which is far more important. Students must understand that we are all different in our own way and with that, we are each able to do different things.  As educators, we should encourage our students to focus on what they can do, and not let what they cannot do interfere with that. At the same time, it is important to encourage our students that if we work hard enough, we may eventually be able to do what we once were not able to do.
