I teach elementary school in Toronto, JK-8, and am also certified to teach Gr.9 & Gr.10 Physical and Health Education. Before beginning my journey as a teacher, I attained my Early Childhood Education diploma which has helped me grow and develop as an individual, teacher and now, a new mom. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but overall, my favorite subjects are Language Arts and Media Literacy – both open the world to creativity. I especially enjoy showing students that these subjects, among others, CAN be and ARE fun! Currently, I am on currently substitute teaching part-time, while spending the rest of the time with my little one who is a year old – she is a true blessing. Together, along with my husband, we enjoy going on road trips, watching movies and taking walks. I am enjoying this new world of parenthood and am also looking forward to new and exciting opportunities in the world of teaching!

I am a grade 7/8 teacher at an elementary school in Toronto.  I have been teaching for more than seven years and I absolutely love my job!  I am lucky to teach at a school with amazing colleagues and a great group of kids!  As an educator, I try to provide my students with meaningful and engaging lessons and activities that allow them to think critically, develop their skills, and provide them with new experiences.  My favourite subjects to teach are Language Arts, Math, and Science.  I love spending time with my family and friends, especially my husband and two sons, Adam (3.5 years old) and David (14 months old).  In my free time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, and hiking.

I am an elementary school teacher in Toronto.  I have been teaching for the past 5 years.  Prior to teaching, I worked in the private corporate business field.  Teaching is definitely not monotonous!  I enjoy teaching Mathematics (especially with students who think they hate math), incorporating technology into my practice and coaching.  When not teaching, I enjoy my time with my two boys (currently 8 and 2) and my husband.  My hobbies are playing sports, playing the piano and going for walks as a family.
